The Company

Formerly known as Financial Collection Services (FCS) Ltd, allpay.net began providing swipecard payment facilities to facilitate revenue collection for Local Government and Housing Associations in 1996.

Managing Director and Founder, Tony Killeen, first conceptualised the idea of electronic bill payments whilst collecting rents on behalf of the council:

Tony Killeen"It was very frustrating working with paper-based bill payment systems. I knew there had to be a better way. This gave me the idea of using technology to speed up the process. What I used to do on paper at the council, we now do with swipe cards. Our system provides convenience and choice for the people paying bills and greater efficiency for any organisation collecting payments."

Through the 1990s Financial Collection Services experienced rapid growth.

In October 2000 the company was re-named allpay.net Limited to reflect the electronic core of its business and it is now able to offer payment solutions to any industry requiring any kind of revenue collection.

The 2004 re-location of allpay.net's entire operation to brand new purpose-built premises at Whitestone on the outskirts of Hereford marked the beginning of yet another phase of growth for the company which, in 1996, had just 2 clients and 4 members of staff.

November 2006 sees the completion of a second purpose built premises and allpay.net now employs well over 150 people, provides payment solutions for over 650 public and private sector organisations and is one of the UK's fastest growing companies.
