EuroDebt makes bill payment easier for consumers thanks to allpay.net
News from the team at EuroDebt:
Leading debt management provider EuroDebt is giving its clients payment flexibility with access to allpay.net's services.
Making unsecured creditor payments has become easier and faster for many EuroDebt clients, thanks to its use of the allpay.net system. The leading debt management provider was the first of its kind to adopt allpay.net for collecting payments from clients, making it easier for consumers to pay any credit accounts and loans being managed as part of a EuroDebt Debt Management Plan. EuroDebt implemented 4 payment schemes in September 2006, including both payment cards and barcode solutions, and is now reaping the benefit of this investment.
"We have issued over 7,000 payment cards to our clients since we first launched this scheme", confirmed Kevin Still, Director at EuroDebt. "Many of our clients find the flexibility and coverage of allpay.net payment points a major advantage, especially those in rural areas or where a local bank branch is not available. Many of our clients make up their agreed monthly payment to creditors with ad hoc payments. In addition we issue over 5,000 statements per month with a barcode that can be used to make payments."
allpay.net believes that it can play a key role in facilitating an improved payment process for consumers and their creditors. "EuroDebt was an early advocate amongst debt management companies to adopt the allpay system, 16 months ago," confirmed Damian Scholes, Director, allpay. "After a successful pilot scheme, EuroDebt has continued to offer allpay to its clients with a wide level of take up from consumers who now use it as a preferred method of payment."
EuroDebt understands the need for consumers to be able to make payments in a variety of ways and is one of the first debt management companies to offer its clients the flexibility of allpay. "allpay offers our clients the ultimate in convenience as well as providing more choice in how they can pay into their Debt Management Plan," explains Vicki Caulfield, manager of the Accounts Receivable and Single Payment Plan departments. "allpay means EuroDebt clients can pay over the internet, by telephone or over the counter via PayPoint, Post Offices and other well known outlets across the UK.
"When you're in financial difficulties it's important to have access to a flexible payment system. allpay has been a highly successful addition to our range of services with 20% of clients choosing it as payment option on their debt management programme."
Caulfield concludes, "Our use of the allpay system is part of EuroDebt's commitment to helping people out of debt and maintaining an excellent record of making agreed payments to creditors, which allows for variability in monthly cashflow."
