Big Card - Advanced Data Capture Swipe Card

The Big Card from allpay.net is an innovative new concept in the bill payment industry.

Using Advanced Data Capture (ADC) technology, the Big Card allows users to make up to five different types of payment with a single swipe card at any UK Post Office™ branch using cash or a debit card.

The five types of payments can be tailored to an organisation’s requirements though the standard set-up scheme is:

• Housing Rents
• Council Tax
• Garage Rent
• Sundry debt
• Social Services Payments

Generic payment cards are available but, more commonly, the card design is specified by the client organisation featuring their own livery. allpay.net’s in-house creative team can also provide a range of graphic design solutions, if required.

How the Big Card Works

Payment swipe cards are encoded and embossed uniquely for each payer, for example a tenant of a housing association.

Once in receipt of their Big Card swipe card, the payer uses their card as an identifier to enjoy the benefits of paying their bills at any UK Post Office™ branch.

WebconnecT Payment File and Swipe Card Management

Organisations using the Big Card benefit from having all transactional data made available the next working day over allpay's secure Internet based communication portal WebconnecT.

This allows posting of payments to revenue, housing management and accounting systems as a single data-stream, providing a seamless cost effective solution to revenue collection.

WebconnecT is also used to order new and replacement swipe cards. There is no minimum volume for these. Orders placed before 3pm on a working day will be despatched by first class post the same day.
